Community Outreach: 1st Annual RESPECT Contest

Our firm was extremely excited to hold our 1st Annual RESPECT Contest for 5th grade students of Pasadena Independent School District. The RESPECT contest asks the students to tell us in a few sentences what respect means to them and why it is important to show one another respect. The students also included an illustration with their entry. After reviewing all of the entries, we selected four winners and presented them with an award at the Harris County Civil Courthouse this morning. The ceremony was presided over by Judge Kyle Carter of the 125th District Court. Judge Carter spoke briefly about the value of respect and the important role it plays in our society.
