46,000 Harley-Davidson’s Recalled Harley-Davidson recently issued a recall on nearly 46,000 motorcycles. According to an Associated Press article, certain models could stay in gear due to clutches that won’t fully disengage. Under the right circumstances, gas bubbles can cause the master cylinder in the clutch to lose its ability to fully disengage. If this happens, a rider could lose control of the bike, if it’s started in gear. Bikes that have been parked for an extended period of time are at an especially high risk of this happening.
